Adams enjoys visit to Death Valley

6-4, 185 pound junior receiver Markeyvious Adams visited Death Valley in late September.

“I went down for the Wake Forest game.  It went good.  It was a great game,” said Adams.

What did the Greenwood receiver hear from the Clemson staff during the visit?

“They said I am still being evaluated by the coaches,” replied Adams.

The Tigers aren’t the only school showing early interest in the top junior receiver.

“I don’t have any offers yet.  Clemson, Duke, NC State, Appalachian, Florida State, Louisville, South Carolina and Georgia are all showing interest,” said Adams.

The top junior plans to see several more schools this fall.

“I have been do Duke, South Carolina and Georgia.  I am planning to go to Appalachian, Louisville, Tennessee and NC State as of right now,” said Adams.

Markeyvious helped lead Greenwood to a big victory last Friday.

“We won 48-7. I had two touchdowns in the first quarter.  I played a couple of minutes of the second quarter then didn’t play any more,” said Adams.
