Hearn honored to make Shrine Bowl

Clemson verbal commitment Taylor Hearn got some good news in the last few weeks when he was named to the Shrine Bowl roster.

“It is kind of overwhelming because I remember not too long ago I was just dreaming about being able to play.  Now it is a reality,” said Hearn.

Coach Caldwell keeps in touch with the prize recruit.

“He just tells me to stay focused and keep up the hard work.  He says he can’t wait to get me up there to Clemson,” said Hearn.

Will the Shrine Bowl standout be able to make the Thursday night game with Georgia Tech?

“No sir, I can’t make that one,” replied Hearn.

Taylor hopes to make the final home game in the Valley when Clemson battles the Citadel.

“I will probably be there.  I am not sure yet,” said Hearn.
