Streak    Clemson won the last meeting

• Clemson and South Carolina square off Sunday in the 164th renewal of the in-state rivalry. The Gamecocks won in both 2010-11 and 2011-12 before the Tigers turned the tables on the road last season in a 64-55 win.

• Clemson held Delaware State to 37 points in its most recent game, matching the fewest allowed by a Brad Brownell coached Tiger team.
• The Tigers committed just six turnovers versus Delaware State, the fifth time with six or fewer under Brownell.
• K.J. McDaniels is coming off a five-block effort Wednesday, the fifth time in his career he has had at least five in a game.
• Clemson sophomore Jordan Roper and South Carolina freshman Justin McKie were teammates at Irmo High School and led the Yellow Jackets to a state title in 2011. McKie’s father, Gamecock legend BJ McKie, is Irmo’s all-time leading scorer and Roper is No. 2 on the list.
