A lot of Clemson fans over the last four years believe Dabo Swinney does not take the Carolina game serious enough. And ridiculous as that may sound, maybe they have a point.
The Tigers have not beaten South Carolina in four years – the longest winning streak ever by the Gamecocks in the series’ 111-year history. But I think that perception will change this year, at least by what the players have already been saying about the big game.
“It’s on,” running back Roderick McDowell said following the win over The Citadel on Saturday.
It is on. The good news for the Tigers, the only thing they really have to worry about is South Carolina and not have to scoreboard watch or anything like that.
