Clemson verbal commitment Kendall Joseph took his official visit and came away very impressed once again.

“I loved it.  I got to be around a lot of my future teammates.  I also got to spend some time around the guys that were already there.  I got to see how cool and genuine they are and I really enjoyed it,” said Joseph.

What was the highlight of the visit?

“I am not sure.  I really enjoyed spending time with coach Venables.  I had a meeting today and went over some of the systems.  I enjoyed spending time with my future teammates. I just got to hang out and experience what college life will be like,” replied Joseph.

Kendall’s parents came with him on the official visit.

“My mom and dad came with me.  It was kind of the icing on the cake for them.  They were pretty sure Clemson was the place for me, but after this weekend it sealed it for them,” said Joseph.

Who was Kendall’s player host this weekend?

“Stephon Anthony was my host.  He was real cool.  He was extremely humble.  He talked about his decision to stay and how much he loves it here at Clemson,” replied Joseph.

The Shrine Bowl standout spent a lot of time recruiting defensive lineman Cory Thomas this weekend.

“Big Cory, I talked to him a lot.  He was really loving Clemson.  I don’t want to speak for him, but I think we have a great shot after the visit.  I could tell he really liked it a lot.  I think Clemson did a great job of showing him they would be a great place for him,” said Joseph.

Kendall already knew Trevion Thompson from the week at the Shrine Bowl.

“Trevion is real cool.  I know my mom talked a lot with him.  I am sure she was doing a little to  recruit him to Clemson,” said Joseph.

Expect to see Kendall at Clemson frequently this spring.

“I plan on getting over there as much as I can.  I will just be training and I only have two classes this semester.  I will get over there a lot to learn what I can,” said Joseph.
