2014 Florida star offensive lineman Jake Fruhmorgen visited Clemson on Saturday for Junior Day and came away very impressed.

“It went well.  I liked the town a lot.  It is different that what I am used to.  I like being in the outdoors.  I loved it,” said Fruhmorgen.

Clemson won over two of his family members that made the trip with Jake.

“My dad an my uncle came with me.  They liked it a lot as well.  At first they were skeptical, but it grew on them,” said Fruhmorgen.

Jake got to spend some time with coach Caldwell and coach Swinney Saturday afternoon.

“I me coach Caldwell.  He is really cool.  I liked him a lot.  Dabo is an energetic guy.  I liked him as well,” said Fruhmorgen.

What was the highlight of the visit?

“I would say it was just touching the Rock and going down the Hill,” said Fruhmorgen.

Jake liked the visit so much that he plans a return visit soon.

“I will definitely be back in the spring,” said Fruhmorgen.

When asked if he has any early favorites, Fruhmorgen responded, “I don’t right now.  I will probably get a few in the next couple of months”.

The commitment timing is not clear yet for the top junior.

“I am not too sure.  I might be ready after seeing some spring practices.  I want to evaluate them the best.  I might be ready after the spring,” said Fruhmorgen.
