Editor’s note: After leading the Clemson Tigers to an Orange Bowl victory over Ohio State, Tajh Boyd is doing a diary with The Clemson Insider.com. Follow his journey for the next few months as he goes from the Senior Bowl, to the NFL’s Scouting Combine, to the NFL Draft. In this edition Boyd discusses the NFL Combine shortly after he arrived in Indianapolis.

I arrived today for the combine.  I went from Fort Lauderdale to Detroit.  We got stuck in Detroit in a snow storm.  It took like two hours before we could leave.  They had to de-ice the plane.

As soon as we got to Indianapolis I went straight to my room.  Then I went off to the medical checkups.  They look at everything.  They take an EKG, X-ray’s, an MRI and check your blood an urine.

After that I went straight to dinner and orientation.  Then we started the team meetings.  I had already met with like nine teams before they had to pull me out to go take my MRI.

I met with the Chief’s offensive coordinator, the Brown’s offensive coordinator, the Jets and a number of other teams.  They ask you all kinds of different questions.  They ask things like what was your best game, what was your worst game?  They try to ask some things you don’t expect.

The workouts have been good.  It has been like trying to put icing on the cake.  I feel like I have improved my motion.  I am throwing as clean as ever.  I have been working to get everything straight for the drills like the 40, the 3-cone and everything.  I feel like I will interview well.  They throw everything at you.

I am going to go back to a few interviews tonight and then call it a night.  Tomorrow morning I have a drug test at 4:30 a.m., and then breakfast at 6 a.m.  It is crazy.

I have been talking to everybody since I got here.  You know me.  I am like a politician.  I had a chance to sit with Sammy (Watkins) and spend some time with Tay (Martavis Bryant).  The receivers also came in today.

This is a business trip.  I came out here to be the best QB here.  I feel like the coaches feel strong about my capabilities.  I have plenty of film to show what I can do.

I am going to leave it on the line this weekend.  I am going to do everything.  Why not?  Andrew Luck threw at the combine.  Cam Newton threw at the combine.

I kind of have mixed emotions.  I am excited man.  I am going to try to go out there and leave it all on the line and make it happen.
