Lee: The tougher the challenge the better

Clemson head coach Monte Lee told the media following the game that he knew once the Tigers tied the game in the ninth inning that they would get the win.

They did just that as Seth Beer hit a walk-off home run in the 10th, lifting No. 19 Clemson to a 3-2 victory over No. 22 Boston College. It was the Tigers’ first walk-off home run since the 2013 season.

Lee praised the performances of pitcher Alex Eubanks and first baseman Chris Williams on Sunday afternoon.
