Clemson will conclude its 13-game homestand when it hosts Monte Lee’s former team, the College of Charleston, in a two-game, midweek series starting tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Lee coached the Cougars the previous seven season before becoming the Tigers’ head coach last June.

Worth Noting

  • Clemson is 28-18 all-time on May 10 with a 10-6 mark at home.
  • The Tigers are 38-18-1 all-time on May 11 with a 16-7 mark at home.
  • Before spending seven seasons as the head coach at College of Charleston, Monte Lee played for the Cougars from 1996-99. He hit .333 with 50 doubles, six triples, 22 homers, 150 RBI, 156 runs, and 66 steals in his career. The St. Louis Cardinals in the 39th round of the 1999 draft drafted him; the first CofC position player ever drafted, and he was an inaugural member of the Cougar Baseball Wall of Fame in 2004.
  • The Tigers have faced six of the nine programs in the CAA (missing Hofstra, Northeastern, and Towson). Clemson is 99-19 all-time against those schools, including a 76-12 mark at home.
