TCI Hitter-of-the Week              #5 Chase Pinder

The sophomore from Poquoson, VA went 5-for-15 (.333) in four games last week to earn his second TCI Hitter-of-the-Week award. Pinder had four RBI, six runs, a sac fly, a HBP, and two walks with a .421 on-base percentage and a .333 slugging percentage.

TCI Pitcher-of-the-Week            #36 Pat Krall

The junior from Downington, PA earned his fifth TCI Pitcher-of-the-Week award for his complete game performance in his first career start on Sunday. In 9.0 innings, Krall allowed a run on three hits (.172 OBA) with three walks and three strikeouts.

Week Notes:

Clemson won a midweek home game over Furman before taking two of three home games from #6 NC State over the weekend. Despite going 3-1, the Tigers were outscored 32-28 while being outhit .297 (46 hits) to .264 (34 hits). On the week, Clemson had three doubles, four homers, 33 walks, and three HBPs against 20 strikeouts while going 4-for-7 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 7.45 ERA, allowing 32 runs (31 earned) in 38.0 innings with 18 walks against 20 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .964 clip, committing six errors in 165 chances.
