How did Clemson’s commits perform in their games on Friday night?

The Clemson Insider has the latest on those performances here:

Linebacker commit Baylon Spector, who also plays on offense for Calhoun (Ga.), was virtually unstoppable. Spector carried his team to a 34-0 win at Sonoraville, rushing for 133 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries. He added a touchdown reception in the third quarter for his fourth score of the game. Spector did most of his damage in the first half, when he ran for 113 yards and three touchdowns on 21 attempts.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins didn’t catch a touchdown pass on offense, but he still caught a pass for a touchdown. Higgins intercepted a pass and returned in 89 yards for a score in the first quarter to give Oak Ride (Tenn.) an early 14-7 lead, though the lead didn’t hold up in a 24-21 loss at Webb. A highlight of the pick-six is below:

Cornerback commit A.J. Terrell plays a lot on offense for Westlake (Atlanta), and he concluded the scoring in his team’s 24-14 win versus Newnan with a 35-yard touchdown run off a direct snap late in the game.

Grayson (Ga.) quarterback Chase Brice blew his team’s game against Newton open in the third quarter, connecting on a 32-yard touchdown pass that made the score 27-0 in an eventual 34-0 victory.

Offensive lineman Blake Vinson did his part to help North Marion (Citra, Fla.) run for four touchdowns in a 42-17 win against Belleview, which clinched the district title.
