How did Clemson’s commitments perform in their games on Friday night?

The Clemson Insider has the latest on those performances here:

Playing in a nationally televised game on ESPNU, Grayson (Ga.) quarterback Chase Brice set the tone of his team’s 36-14 victory at Hoover with a 47-yard touchdown pass on the first offensive play of the game. Brice finished 8-of-17 passing for 112 yards and the touchdown.

Oak Ridge (Tenn.) receiver Tee Higgins entered his team’s game at Campbell County questionable to play, but suited up and still caught six passes for 55 yards and a touchdown in a 28-0 win that clinched the region title.

Westlake (Atlanta) cornerback A.J. Terrell, who is also a key contributor on offense, scored on a touchdown pass in the first quarter of Westlake’s 35-31 win against Wheeler. Terrell almost added a 65-yard touchdown run on an end-around, but it was called back due to penalty.

Crest (Shelby, N.C.) linebacker Justin Foster caught a pass on third down out of the wildcat formation late in the fourth quarter of his team’s eventual 24-14 win at Burns that helped Crest extend a drive which ended with a game-clinching field goal.

Calhoun (Ga.) linebacker and quarterback Baylon Spector threw a 13-yard touchdown pass and ran another in from 2 yards out as part of his three total touchdowns and 121 all-purpose yards in Calhoun’s 46-21 victory against Bremen.

Trezevant (Memphis, Tenn.) running back Cordarrian Richardson recorded a 46-yard touchdown pass in Trezevant’s 54-0 rout of Hillcrest.

Brownsburg (Ind.) quarterback Hunter Johnson went 16-of-31 passing for 188 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 36 yards on 17 carries in Brownsburg’s 49-13 loss to Ben Davis.

Defensive end Jordan Williams and Cox (Virginia Beach, Va.) ended a six-game losing streak versus Ocean Lakes with a 17-13 win to improve to 8-1 for the first time in school history.

Wide receiver Amari Rodgers and Knoxville (Tenn.) Catholic rolled over Union County 34-0.

Cornerback LeAnthony Williams and Roswell (Ga.) defeated Woodstock 59-7 to remain undefeated, while Mike Jones and IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) stayed lossless with a 34-0 win at Long Beach Poly.

Offensive lineman Blake Vinson and North Marion (Citra, Fla.) had a bye this week. Offensive lineman Noah DeHond and Peddie (Hightstown, N.J.) host Hun at 2 p.m. today.
