With baseball season right around the corner, TCI continues our preseason coverage as we take a brief look at the nine returning members of the 2017 Clemson pitching staff.




#43 Patrick Andrews            RHP

4-4 with 2 saves and a 3.78 ERA in 68 career appearances (one start)

Allowed 88 hits (.247 OBA) in 95.1 IP with 35 BB and 77 K

Seasoned veteran returns to the Tiger bullpen in 2017


#23 Charlie Barnes               LHP

7-6 with a 4.40 ERA in 28 career appearances (18 starts)

Allowed 123 hits (.258 OBA) in 118.2 IP with 32 BB and 107 K

Weekend starter last year who should return in that role in 2017


#17 Paul Campbell               RHP

0-2 with one save and an 8.60 ERA in 25 career appearances (one start)

Power righty returns in an expected bullpen role in 2017


#19 Brooks Crawford            RHP

Midweek starter down the stretch in 2016 could return to same role or be used in long relief
