Clemson commitment Josh Belk was involved in a car accident on Monday but not seriously injured, according to his Twitter account.

Belk, a four-star defensive tackle from Lewisville High in Richburg, S.C., posted about the accident on Twitter on Monday night.

“Walked away from this with only a busted lip and a few scratches on my hand,” Belk said. “Nothing but thanks to the man upstairs.”

On Monday, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star defensive end and Clemson commit Xavier Thomas posted on Twitter about a car accident he was involved in that occurred in West Virginia. Like Belk, Thomas sustained only minor injuries.

Ten days ago, Clemson defensive end Richard Yeargin was also involved in a car accident in Greenville, S.C. He suffered a neck injury that will force him to miss the 2017 season.
