Belleview (Fla.) four-star offensive tackle Michael Tarquin returned to Clemson on Saturday for the Georgia Tech game.
“It was great,” Tarquin said of the visit. “I liked talking with the coaches as well as watching the guys go down the hill.”
It marked the top 2019 prospect’s fourth visit to Clemson, but first experience of the game-day atmosphere in Death Valley.
“It’s outstanding,” Tarquin said.
Clemson offered Tarquin in May, and offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell has maintained regular communication.
Tarquin (6-5, 290) caught up Caldwell during the visit as well as spent time with other members of the Tigers’ staff.
“They have a certain recruiting profile, and I check all the boxes,” Tarquin said of what he heard from the coaches. “And whenever I’m ready they would love for me to be part of Clemson.”
In addition to Clemson, Tarquin touts offers from Auburn, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State and Oklahoma among others.
Tarquin, who is looking to make a decision before next spring, counts Clemson among his favorites.
“I love Clemson,” he said.
Tarquin previously visited Clemson in June. He has also been to games at Florida, Miami, Ohio State and South Carolina this fall.
He is ranked by ESPN as the No. 11 tackle and No. 119 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
