Clemson has offered Wellington (Fla.) Palm Beach Central five-star defensive back Akeem Dent, he announced via Twitter on Tuesday.

The elite 2019 cornerback committed to Florida State in July after de-committing from Miami in March.

Dent (6-0, 170) lists 21 offers, including ones from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan and Ohio State.

In nine games as a junior this season, Dent recorded 81 tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, five interceptions, four pass breakups and three caused fumbles.

He is ranked as a top-five cornerback and top-75 overall prospect in his class according to the major recruiting services.
