Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media following Friday’s practice.
The Tigers, who will play Alabama in the Sugar Bowl as part of the College Football Playoff, had an afternoon practice behind the Allen Reeves Football Complex in Clemson.
Swinney said practice went okay, but he can tell from the last two days his players have been focused on other things such as exams because the practices have not been as crisp as would have liked.
“We are not anywhere near where we need to be or want to be. It has been just very average,” he said.
With exams over, Swinney is hopeful things will get turned back around in the next couple of days.
