Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott said Wednesday is always a fun day for him because signing day is always a fun day.
“I always enjoy signing day. It is always a lot of fun here in Clemson,” Scott said on Thursday as the Tigers’ continued bowl preparation for the Sugar Bowl and No. 4 Alabama. “(Wednesday) was the day we didn’t know on a couple of guys so when you wake up that morning it’s like game day. There was a lot of energy and excitement to kind of find out how everything would shake out. It was a special day and it really could not have gone any better.”
Scott went on to talk about the Tigers inking defensive end K.J. Henry, the nation’s No. 5 overall player and Alabama’s defense as well, who the Tigers will face in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day (8:45 p.m., ESPN) as part of the College Football Playoff Semifinals.
