What They Are Saying: Clemson recruits in U.S. Army All-American Bowl

Eight of Clemson’s signees in the 2018 recruiting class played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which took place Saturday in San Antonio and was televised live by NBC.

It wasn’t the best day for Trevor Lawrence as he threw two interceptions in the first quarter. However, the five-star quarterback from Cartersville, Ga., bounced back near the end of the game, leading the East team on a scoring drive in the fourth quarter that he capped with a touchdown pass.

Xavier Thomas, Jackson Carman, Derion Kendrick, Kyler McMichael, Josh Belk, Justin Mascoll and BT Potter all represented the Tigers as Clemson signees in the game as well.
