Clemson has offered Marrero (La.) John Ehret four-star linebacker Donte Starks. The Class of 2019 standout announced the news via Twitter on Thursday.

Starks (6-1, 215) cites 23 offers in total, including ones from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, North Carolina, Oklahoma and others.

Starks is ranked among the top 100 players in his class by both ESPN and 247Sports. 247 ranks him as the No. 1 inside linebacker and No. 19 overall prospect for 2019.

In eight games as a junior last season, Starks registered 82 tackles, including 13 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery. He also ran for 135 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries.

Starks transferred to John Ehret High School from Biloxi (Miss.) High last November.
