With baseball season starting on Friday, The Clemson Insider continues our preseason coverage as we take a brief look at the 10 returning position players on the 2018 Clemson baseball squad.

The 12th-ranked Tigers open up the new season on Friday when they host William & Mary for a three-game series at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson.

First pitch for Game 1 is set for 4 p.m.

No. 28 Seth Beer                       1B/OF     JR

Will start the year in right field but could also see time at first base

No. 4 Grayson Byrd                   INF          *JR

Could be starter at either second or third base and will see time at both positions
