Clemson has offered Atlanta (Ga.) Marist School 2019 safety Kyle Hamilton, he announced via social media Sunday.

“Very excited to receive an offer from Clemson University!” Hamilton wrote in a Twitter post.

Hamilton (6-3, 185) has seen his recruitment take off this year with a dozen programs extending scholarship offers, including Maryland, Georgia Tech, NC State, Virginia, Northwestern, Duke and Wake Forest among others. He also holds offers from Louisville, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Baylor and others.

As a junior last season, Hamilton recorded 60 tackles, eight interceptions and six pass breakups. Offensively, he had 20 catches for 507 yards and seven touchdowns as a receiver for a Marist team that finished 14-1 and made it to the state title game.

Hamilton has visited several schools, including Alabama, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech.
