Clemson running back Travis Etienne had a breakout 2017 football season as he emerged as one of the best young backs in the game.

The freshman from Jennings, La., led the Tigers with 766 yards and a team-high 13 touchdowns Clemson’s run to a third straight ACC Championship.

Etienne averaged 7.2 yards per carry, including an 81-yard touchdowns run against Louisville in the Tigers’ 47-21 victory on Sept. 16.
