Clemson offers 4-star Purdue commitment

Clemson has offered West Lafayette (Ind.) 2019 four-star defensive end George Karlaftis, he announced via Twitter on Friday.

Karlaftis (6-5, 260) has been committed to Purdue since last October.

In addition to the Tigers and Boilermakers, Karlaftis holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Southern Cal and Tennessee among others.

In 13 games as a junior last season, Karlaftis tallied 101 tackles, including 12 for loss and 12.5 sacks. He also recorded 15 quarterback hurries, three pass deflections, three caused fumbles, one fumble recovery, two blocked punts and two blocked field goals.

Karlaftis recently committed to play in the 2019 Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii.
