Clemson, ranked as high as seventh in the country, beat Furman at home Tuesday before sweeping a three-game series over 10th-ranked Dallas Baptist at Doug Kingsmore Stadium over the weekend. The Tigers outscored their opponents 36-8 while outhitting the opposition .323 (42 hits) to .176 (22 hits). On the weekend, Clemson had seven doubles, eight homers, 24 walks, and four HBPs against 28 strikeouts while going 0-1 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 1.50 ERA, allowing eight runs (six earned) in 36.0 innings with 15 walks against 40 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .986 clip, committing two errors in 139 chances.

TCI Hitter-of-the Week #12 Robert Jolly
The senior outfielder from Myrtle Beach, SC went 7-for-12 (.583) in four games last week to earn his first hitter-of-the-week award of 2018. Jolly had three doubles, five RBI, six runs, and five walks for a .833 slugging percentage and a .706 on-base percentage.

The redshirt sophomore from Hoschton, GA earned his second straight pitcher-of-the-week honor for his performance on Saturday evening. Higginbotham allowed a single unearned run on five hits with no walks and seven strikeouts in 7.0 innings to earn his second win.
