Terrell pick-six puts Tigers up early

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Clemson jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a 42-yard interception reception for a touchdown by AJ Terrell with 13:20 remaining in the first quarter.

Alabama started to gain momentum after forcing the Tigers to go three-and-out and then completed a pair of passes for a first down. Then Terrell jumped Tagovailoa’s pass and took it all the way in for the touchdown.
