Clemson’s Valerie Cagle has been named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Player of the Week, the organization announced.

With Tuesday’s announcement, Cagle became the first NFCA Player of the Week in the Clemson Softball program’s history.

Earlier on Tuesday, The Clemson Insider caught up with Cagle in an inclusive interview with the Tigers’ star player.
