The summer recruiting season is in full-swing. Unfortunately, real, live college football is still a couple of months away.
With that in mind, TheClemsonInsider is taking a look back at the recruitment of each returning player on the Clemson roster.

Blanks’ first visit to Clemson was in 2010 for the Miami game. A few months later, shortly after the calendar flipped to 2011, Blanks made the trip back up to Tigertown for the January junior day, to get a more in-depth look at the school.
That spring, Blanks listed Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and LSU were listed as his top schools. Ohio State and USC were also considered among the favorites.
Clemson had Blanks back on campus in June for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp. A day after returning home to Tallahassee, he committed to Clemson, joining defensive backs Cordrea Tankersley and Ronald Geohaghan in the Tigers’ 2012 class.
“The main thing is the relationships that I have with the coaches. I have pretty good relationships and I feel comfortable around those guys.”
Jeff Scott served as Blanks’ primary recruiter to Clemson, but former defensive backs coach Charlie Harbison played a big role in securing his pledge.
Blanks never wavered from his commitment as he worked towards an early graduation from North Florida Christian.
The former four-star prospect enrolled at Clemson in January of 2012.
