PINEHURST, N.C. — Who’s the funniest member of the Clemson football team? Most likely to become President? The worst dancer?

Eric Mac Lain answered a series of rapid-fire questions from TheClemsonInsider’s Hale McGranahan at the ACC Kickoff on Monday afternoon.

McG: Who’s the funniest guy on the team?

Mac: Funny as in the way they act or the things they say?

McG: Both.

Mac: Funniest acting is probably (Germone Hopper). He gets pretty silly. Then, Jay Guillermo is the funniest guy on the team. He says some pretty ridiculous things.

McG: Who’s the best dancer?

Mac: G-Hop.

McG: Is he the most talented guy?

Mac: He’s just got a lot of tricks up his sleeve. He doesn’t really show it much. When he, does you’re just taken back and wow.

McG: Who’s the worst dancer?

Mac: Probably myself. I’m not too extravagant with the dance moves. I keep it simple, keep it tight. I don’t get out of my comfort zone.

McG: How would you compare your moves to Dabo’s?

Mac: Way better than that. He just embarrasses himself. I keep it like Will Smith in the move ‘Hitch’. Have you ever seen that?

McG: Yea.

Mac: It’s simple and in the zone.

McG: Is G-Hop the best singer, too?

Mac: No. Singer-wise, it’s probably Chad Richardson. He was a walk-on linebacker last year. He can break it down. We had that little talent show at the Russell Athletic Bowl and he crushed it. He did really well.

McG: Who’s the worst singer?

Mac: The worst singer is probably G-Hop. I’ve heard him sing actually. G-Hop is the answer for a lot of things.

McG: Does anybody cook on the team? Is there anybody that’s awesome?

Mac: I think (D.J.) Reader can cook pretty well.

(Looked to his left, towards Reader)

Mac: Reader, you chef it up?

Reader: Oh, yea.

Mac: Yea, he chefs it up.

McG: The best cook on the team?

Mac: Do you think so?

Reader: On the team?

Mac: Yea.

Reader: I’ll own it.

McG: Who’s the best basketball player on the team?

Mac: That’s, by far, myself.

McG: Besides you.

Mac: No, there is no other. Any 1-on-1, I’ll take anybody any day. It won’t even be close. We play to 11, it will probably be 11-0.

McG: You’d take on Mike Williams?

Mac: Dude, yes. He can’t guard me. There’s nothing he can do. He’ll never get the ball. It’s just raining 3s all over the place.

McG: Who’s the worst?

Mac: The worst basketball player? Probably Tyrone Crowder. He’s one of those big guys. He can’t play and it’s just not good. It’s not good. It’s embarrassing to watch, really. It brings a tear to my every single time.

McG: You said you play some golf. Who’s the best golfer?

Mac: Best golfer, probably either Stanton Seckinger. It was Adam Humphries. Adam can play. Adam’s really good.

McG: Who’s the worst? Is there anybody out there that’s embarrassing?

Mac: There are some bad swings on the team. I don’t know the worst one. We have some bad ones. Taylor Hearn is pretty bad. He just slices it every time.

McG: Most likely to become President?

Mac: Myself. Can you not tell?

McG: I forgot who I was talking to.

Mac: Nick Schuessler, he would be a good President. He’s a solid guy. I like him. I would vote for him.

McG: Most likely to be on a reality TV show?

Mac: Jay Jay McCullough, without a doubt.

McG: Why’s that?

Mac: He’s just a crazy individual. Crazy life. I love watching him. He’s a funny guy.
