Clemson is ranked No. 1 in this week’s Amway Coaches Poll. The is the first time the Tigers have been ranked No. 1 in the coaches poll since January of 1982.
The Tigers, who were ranked No.2 in last week’s poll, are coming off a 37-27 victory at Syracuse. Clemson was ranked No. 1 in both the Associated Press and College Football Playoff Committee’s rankings last week.
The Tigers (10-0, 7-0 ACC) have been ranked No. 1 in each of the playoff committee’s first two polls, and last week were ranked No. 1 in the AP poll for the first time since 1982 win they won the 1981 National Championship.
