Does Clemson hold court in CFB Playoff Rankings?

Clemson remained the No. 1 ranked team in the country by the College Football Playoff Committee. The committee released its rankings on Tuesday.

The Tigers (11-0) are one of two undefeated teams left in the country, No. 4 Iowa is the other. Clemson has been ranked No.1 in the CFB Rankings in each of the first four weeks.

The Tigers are also ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press and the Amway Coaches Polls. Clemson got 55 of 61 first place votes by the Associated Press and 58 of 64 in the Coaches Poll.

Clemson will visit rival South Carolina on Saturday in Columbia. The Tigers’ next opponent will be No. 14 North Carolina in the ACC Championship Game on Dec. 5. The Tar Heels are currently 10-1.

If everything holds, Clemson could play Iowa or Michigan State in the Orange Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
