Clemson’s Reed Rohlman talked to The Clemson Insider following last Sunday’s win over James Madison to discuss the Tigers’ upcoming weekend series with arch rival South Carolina, which begins on Friday in Columbia.
The three-game series will start at Carolina Stadium at 7 p.m. in the Capital City, while Game 2 will be played Saturday in Greenville at Fluor Field. It is set for a 2:30 p.m. first pitch. The Tigers will host the Gamecocks at Doug Kingsmore on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Game 3 of the series.
Clemson (6-1) has won six straight coming into the series, including Tuesday’s win over Wofford, while USC is 8-0. The Tigers won the three-game series last year, including a win in Columbia.
“It’s up there. This is one of the biggest weekends of the year, no doubt,” Rohlman said. “Just from the past (games), everyone is excited about it and the whole state of South Carolina is excited about it.”
“We are going to be ready,” he continued. “We are excited and we are ready for it to come.”
