TCI Hitter-of-the Week Chris Okey
The junior catcher from Mount Dora, FL went 9-for-18 (.500) in four games last week to earn his first TCI Hitter-of-the-Week award. Okey had two doubles, two homers, two RBI, four runs, a walk, and a HBP for a .550 on-base percentage and a .944 slugging percentage.

The freshman from Hoschton, GA picked up his third win of the season with a midweek win over Presbyterian College to earn his first TCI Pitcher-of-the-Week award. In 5.2 innings, Higginbotham allowed a run on six hits (.261 OBA) with two walks and four strikeouts.

Clemson, ranked as high as #14 in the country, beat Presbyterian College in midweek action before being swept in a three-game road series at #4 Miami (FL). The Tigers were outscored 28-25 while being outhit .315 (46 hits) to .293 (43 hits). On the week, Clemson had eight doubles, a triple, nine homers, 19 walks, and three HBPs against 29 strikeouts while going 4-for-6 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 5.05 ERA, allowing 28 runs (20 earned) in 35.2 innings with 23 walks against 25 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .937 clip, committing 10 errors in 158 chances.
