The freshman from Suwanee, GA went 5-for-13 (.385) in four games last week to earn his fourth TCI Hitter-of-the-Week award. Beer had a homer, three RBI, one run, four walks, and two HBPs with a .579 on-base percentage and a .615 slugging percentage.

The sophomore from Sumter, SC earned his second TCI Pitcher-of-the-Week award after picking up his third win of the season at Duke on Saturday. In a career-high 8.0 innings, Barnes allowed two runs on four hits (.143 OBA) with a walk and three strikeouts.

Clemson, ranked as high as #16 in the country, won a road midweek game at Georgia before dropping two of three games at Duke. The Tigers outscored their opposition 18-15 while outhitting their opponents .250 (33 hits) to .216 (27 hits). On the week, Clemson had three doubles, two triples, two homers, 20 walks, and five HBPs against 26 strikeouts while going 3-for-3 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 3.18 ERA, allowing 15 runs (12 earned) in 34.0 innings with 14 walks against 30 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .972 rate, committing four errors in 145 chances.
