5-star Mitchell ‘loved everything’ about Clemson visit

Clemson hosted another one of the nation’s top prospects on Friday when 2018 5-star linebacker Teradja Mitchell visited the Tigers.  Teradja came away very impressed with Tigertown.

“It was fun.  I loved everything about it.  The vibe of the coaching staff was great.  They are like a real family and the campus is awesome.  Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet coach Swinney because he was out of town.  But Clemson is a great program and school overall. I will be back,” Mitchell told The Clemson Insider.

Coach Venables made a good impression on the Virginia Beach standout.

“He is very energetic.  I love his passion for the game of football.   That is something I value when I’m looking at a coach, not to mention he’s arguably the best defensive coordinator in the country. Great coach and great person to be around,” said Mitchell.

A few more stops are on the summer visit tour this week.

“I’m on my way to FSU right now and I’ll be visiting Georgia Sunday,” said Mitchell.

Teradja doesn’t have any early favorites.

“I am treating all the schools the same right now.  After visiting Clemson today I realized how great a school it is though.  I really didn’t have much knowledge on the program prior to the visit today,” said Mitchell.
