Clemson scores first touchdown

Clemson scored the first touchdown of the game and took a 7-3 lead over Boston College on a 59-yard touchdown run by Wayne Gallman at the 9:22 mark of the first quarter. It was a short four-play, 75-yard drive for the Tigers that lasted 1:46.

Gallman received the handoff out of the backfield, broke a tackle and was off to the races. It was the longest play of the year for Clemson.
