Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson dominated the first half of Saturday’s 54-0 victory over Syracuse until he was removed from the game because of a shoulder injury.
He could have returned, but the second-ranked Tigers’ offense dominated without him. Watson and his backup, Nick Schuessler, each threw two touchdowns.
Syracuse starting quarterback Eric Dungey was knocked out of the game as well.
