Watson-Williams connection puts Clemson ahead

Clemson took its first lead of the contest against Pittsburgh, 21-14, on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Deshaun Watson to Mike Williams with a little more than 10 minutes left in the second quarter. The connection capped an 11-play, 82-yard drive that spanned 3:42.

The Tigers converted three first downs on the drive, two of which came on a 26-yard reception by Jordan Leggett and a pass interference penalty against Deon Cain. Clemson was 6-of-7 on third down after the drive, while Williams raised his line to six catches for 117 yards and the touchdown.
