Fourth-ranked Clemson can clinch the ACC’s Atlantic Division Championship and a berth in next month’s ACC Championship Game on Dec. 3 with a victory at Wake Forest tonight in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m., and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
The Tigers are coming off their first loss in two years thanks to Pitt’s stunning one-point victory in Death Valley last week. The Demon Deacons are also coming off a loss, losing at No. 5 Louisville. Wake Forest actually led that game by two points with 11 minutes to play in the game.
About Wake Forest: Wake faces the No. 4 team in the country for the second week in a row after facing fifth-ranked Louisville on the road last week. Wake Forest is looking for its second all-time win over a Top-5 ranked team and its first since 1946. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 44-12 loss at Louisville. Mike Weaver booted four first-half field goals to give Wake Forest a 12-3 halftime lead before the Cardinals rallied in the second half for the win.
