The Clemson baseball team went 4-0 last week, which included a win over Western Carolina and a three-game sweep of Elon. The Tigers will host Wofford today (4 p.m.) at Doug Kingsmore Stadium before begining their three-game series with South Carolina on Friday in Clemson.

TCI Hitter-of-the Week #5 Chase Pinder
The junior outfielder from Poquoson, VA went 10-for-18 (.556) in four games last week. Pinder had two doubles, six RBI, four runs, a walk, a HBP, and had a .600 on-base percentage with a .667 slugging percentage.

Clemson, ranked as high as #12 in the country, beat Western Carolina at home in midweek action before sweeping three games from Elon this weekend at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Tigers outscored their opponents 28-10 while outhitting the opposition .319 (46 hits) to .247 (37 hits). On the week, Clemson had six doubles, two homers, 20 walks, and seven HBPs against 23 strikeouts while going 3-6 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff finished the week with a 2.25 ERA, allowing 10 runs (10 earned) in 40.0 innings with five walks against 52 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .982 clip, committing three errors in 165 chances.
