Clemson outworking South Carolina for Potter

Rock Hill (S.C.) kicker BT Potter visited Clemson on Saturday and got his first look at the new football facility.

“It was great. I had a really good time. It was my first time seeing the new facility and it was really nice,” Potter told The Clemson Insider.

The Clemson coaches discussed a possible offer with the South Pointe standout.

“We talked about the possibility of a scholarship if I perform well at camp,” said Potter.

Several other schools are showing strong interest in Potter.

“I have heavy interest from South Carolina, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Cal,” said Potter.

During the visit Potter’s mom got to go down the slide in the new football complex.

“After we had our meeting Coach (Jeff) Scott took us all down it,” said Potter.

What was the highlight of the visit?

“Talking with the coaches,” replied Potter.

Teammate Derion Kendrick is already committed to the Tigers.

“We are pretty close,” said Potter.

Which in-state school is the favorite right now?

“I wouldn’t say a favorite, but one school definitely shows more interest than the other. Clemson is showing the most interest right now,” Potter said.
