Fourth-ranked Clemson went 4-0 this past week, including a three-game sweep of Virginia Tech this past weekend. The sweep allowed the Tigers to grab the lead in the ACC Standings by one game over No. 3 Louisville.

TCI Hitter-of-the Week #8 Logan Davidson
The freshman shortstop from Charlotte, NC went 7-for-14 (.500) in fpir games last week to earn his first Hitter-of-the-Week award. Davidson had a homer, three RBI, eight runs, three walks, and a stolen base with a .714 slugging percentage and a .556 on-base percentage.

In 8.2 scoreless innings, Jackson allowed four hits (.138 OBA) with no walks and six strikeouts while picking up his fifth win of the year against the Bulldogs.

Clemson, ranked as high as #4 in the country, won a midweek game at Georgia before sweeping a three-game home series from Virginia Tech over the weekend. The Tigers outscored their opponents 30-7 while outhitting the opposition .316 (43 hits) to .178 (23 hits). On the week, Clemson had eight doubles, four homers, 16 walks, and six HBPs against 24 strikeouts while going 5-5 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 1.25 ERA, allowing seven runs (five earned) in 36.0 innings with eight walks against 32 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .967 clip, committing five errors in 151 chances.
