Norcross (Ga.) Greater Atlanta Christian five-star 2019 defensive end Christopher Hinton named Clemson one of his top six schools on Saturday via social media.
Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Ohio State and Stanford also made the cut for Hinton.
“First off I would like to thank God for everything He has done,” Hinton wrote in a Twitter post. “Being able to go through this process is a blessing. I would like to thank everyone who has had a hand in my development as a young man and a player. Thank you for all the schools who invested their time in me. Last I would like to thank my parents for everything they do. With that being said these are my top 6 schools I will be focusing on.”
In addition to his top schools, HintonĀ (pictured second from the left) has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Southern Cal, Tennessee and Virginia Tech among others.
HintonĀ (6-4, 274) received an offer from Clemson in January and visited Clemson for its junior day in March.
Hinton is the son of former NFL all-pro offensive lineman Christopher Hinton.
He hails from the same school as Clemson defensive back commitment Kyler McMichael.
