Clemson students frustrated with new lottery-style ticket system

As many of you may already know, the student ticket distribution system at Clemson has caused much controversy as the fifth-ranked Tigers’ open the season against Kent State on Saturday. Earlier this week, one Clemson student started a petition to get the rule changed, which caused a fuss among the Clemson Family.

Though some of the changes, such as the removal of block seating, were voted on by the student senate, students are upset with the change. Many IPTAY student members, seniors and underclassmen have not been able to get tickets to see Clemson play due to the new lottery-style system.

The Clemson Insider’s Olivia Garrison and Ashley Pendergist spoke to some Clemson students about their frustrations with the ticket system in this week’s feature of Eye on Campus.
