Clemson has landed a big commitment from 2018 four-star post player Trey Jemison, The Clemson Insider has confirmed.
Jemison chose the Tigers over Georgia Tech, Auburn, Ole Miss and Alabama among others. He has a 3.6 GPA and held an offer from Harvard.
The 6-foot-11, 240-pounder has a 7-foot, 2-inch wingspan. He is ranked as the No. 3 power forward in Alabama, No. 42 power forward nationally and No. 161 overall prospect in his class.
Jemison played at Homewood High in Alabama before transferring to Hoover (Ala.) over the summer.
Clemson has been recruiting him for two years. Dick Bender served as his primary recruiter for the Tigers.
This was a traditional recruitment, and we were told this is one of those times where the good guys won.
Jemison joins Greensboro (N.C.) Day guard John Newman and Monroe (N.C.) Piedmont forward Hunter Tyson in the Tigers’ 2018 recruiting class.
