Loganville (Ga.) Grayson 2019 four-star defensive end Kevin Harris has received an offer from Clemson, per coach Kenyatta Watson on Twitter.
Harris (6-5, 210) also has offers from Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, N.C. State, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and others.
Harris made an unofficial visit to Clemson earlier this season for the Tigers’ game against Boston College.
TCI spoke with Harris after the visit, and he said the best part was catching up with his former head coach at Grayson, Clemson safeties coach Mickey Conn.
“Talking to coach Conn was the highlight,” he said. “He’s watched me work hard since the 9th grade before I had any one looking at me. He said I’ve really made myself into the player that I am now.”
Through nine games as a junior this season, Harris had 43 tackles, including 10 for loss, five sacks, seven quarterback hurries and a safety.
