All of Clemson’s 2018 commitments and several uncommitted targets made their official visits to Clemson this weekend.
Among the priority targets was one of the Palmetto State’s best prospects, Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman offensive lineman Jordan McFadden, who is currently committed to Virginia Tech. The Clemson Insider spoke with McFadden about his experience at Clemson over the weekend.
TCI: How did you enjoy the official visit?
McFadden: “It was really good. I had a lot of fun.”
TCI: What was the highlight of your experience?
McFadden: “Just spending time with the coaches, commits, and players.”
TCI: Who came with you on the visit?
McFadden: “My mother, cousin, and uncle.”
TCI: How did they enjoy it?
McFadden: “They had a lot of fun also. I could tell they enjoyed their selves.”
TCI: Who was your player host, and what was it like to spend time with him?
McFadden: “John Simpson was my host, and I had a good time. Me and him are kind of alike, so it was just fun.”
TCI: What did you hear from the coaches?
McFadden: “The coaches told me they really wanted me and they were just waiting for me to make my decision.”
TCI: Did the visit get you any closer to a Clemson commitment?
McFadden: “Honestly it kinda did!”
