The 81st annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas was played on Saturday at Gibbs Stadium at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. The North Carolina team defeated the South Carolina squad 55-24.
A couple of Clemson’s commitments were among the game’s participants in Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe four-star athlete Derion Kendrick and Central (S.C.) Daniel four-star linebacker Jake Venables. The game also featured five-star Clemson target K.J. Henry of Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth.
