NEW ORLEANS — Friday morning was the second day of press conferences for top-ranked Clemson and No. 4 Alabama as both teams prepare for the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day in the Superdome.
Here is what is being said on Twitter about Friday’s press conferences:
First impressions can be deceiving for #Clemson OC Tony Elliott when it comes to WR Hunter Renfrow. He's a Clemson hero and the #Alabama killer. #CFBPlayoff @renfrowhunter pic.twitter.com/hlCgDEfc6L

Something to keep in mind for the CFP: Only once since the start of the BCS era in 1998 has a team won a national title and finished outside the top 30 nationally in scoring defense (Auburn in 2010). Alabama is 1st this season, Clemson 2nd, Georgia tied for 3rd and Oklahoma 51st.
