Defensive back Adrian Baker from Hollywood, FL has been committed to Florida State since the summer.  Clemson has continued to recruit the Florida standout and are making a strong push late.  Adrian will be taking an official visit to Clemson next month.

“Yes sir.  I am going to take my official visit to Clemson on Dec. 7.  I am flying up with my grandma.  My uncle from Atlanta is going to drive up and meet us,” said Baker.

Why has the prize recruit decided to take a visit to Clemson?

“I have had a great relationship with coach Cheese and coach Venables throughout the whole process.  Even once I committed to Florida State they stayed in touch,” said Baker.

Tuesday coach Venables and coach Cheese visited with Adrian.

“They came by to see me today.  We talked for about an hour.  We talked about life, education, football and of course Clemson,” said Baker.

Another official visit is on tap for the top defensive back.

“Oklahoma is the only other one,” said Baker.

Adrian is not sure when he will make his final decision, but that decision is getting easier he says.

“I don’t know when I will make my decision.  The visit with the Clemson coaches was great today.  Coach Stoops left Florida State today.  I don’t want to say a lot but it is not going to be as difficult a decision as it was,” said Baker.
